MINUTES
Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins called the work session to
order at 6:04 p.m. at the City Hall Pre -Council Room in Euless, Texas.
Those present included:
Board Member Robert Wooldridge
Board Member Clarence Moore
Board Member Ron Young
Board Member Ruby Anne Crites
Board Member Charles Cinquemani
Board Member Alternate Curtis Brown
City Attorney Wayne Olson
City Manager Loretta Getchell
Deputy City Manager Bob Freeman
Director of Planning and Development Mike Collins
Building Official Don Sheffield
Administrative Secretary Mollie Snapp
Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins welcomed everyone, made
the introductions of the staff present and reviewed the items to be covered.
Administrative Secretary Mollie Snapp conducted the Oath of Office for Board Members
Clarence Moore, Ron Young, Charles Cinquemani and Board Member Alternate Curtis
Brown.
City Attorney Wayne Olson reviewed the differences and responsibilities included
between the Zoning Board of Adjustments and the Housing and Structures Board.
City Attorney Wayne Olson presented a briefing of the Open Meetings Act.
Discussion ensued regarding the roles of the board members as it pertains to the Open
Meetings Act.
City Attorney Wayne Olson presented a briefing of Chapter 14 "Buildings and Building
Regulations" of the Unified Development Code.
Discussion ensued regarding the roles and procedures of the Housing and Structures
Board pertaining to Chapter 14.
Although posted, no closed session was held.
The work session was adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
