Huatter W .. W. S. Welton George Fbarhort Jim MICh6011 As you well know, there are mutual problems facing the Hurst -Euless --Bedford School District and each of the three cities. Certainly the most critical. is the increasingly complex problem of the efficient use of tax monies. In an effort to better understand each other's current and future plans, the School Board is suggesting a joint meeting to be attended by two members from each of the three City Councils and two members of the School Board. We further suggest that this be a continuing committee and meet quarterly. The first meeting is scheduled for February 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the School Board Room at Central Junior High School. We would appreciate your council's selection of two attendees. In as much as this is to be continuing committee, it is suggested that selections be made keeping in mind both experience and continuity. The first meeting should be one of organization and establishing the objectives of each entity. We are looking forward to this meeting. If you find the date com- pletely unacceptable or have other suggestions to make, please let me know. Best regards, George Eberhart G E/cw cc: John Eden Charles Driskill Charles W .
