TRINITY HIGH QUARTERBACI: CLUB
ARTICLE I
Name
This organization shall be known as the Trinity High School Quarterback
Club. It is a non-profit organization.
ARTICLE II
Objects
This object is to support the athletic activities of Trinity High and its
supporting schools, both morally and financially within the rules and regulations
established by the Hurst -Euless -Bedford School. District and applicable Texas
Agencies; to actively promote good sportsmanship; and to p::ovide a means of creat-
ing a closer -relationship and understand-ng between the citizens of this area and
the Athletic Departments of these schools.
ARTICLE III
Membership
Any person of good moral character who is interested in aiding, promulgating
ar.d supporting athletics for and within these schools systems, and who pays the
prescribed annual dues, as established by the Board of Di.recto-'s, shall be
eligible for membership.
ARTICLE IV
Fiscal Year
The fiscal year of the Club, beginning in 1963, A.D., shall begin the first
Monday of May and end at midnight the day preceeding the first Monday of May of
the following year.
ARTICLE V
Directors
The Board of Directors shall consist of nine members, one of which shall be
the President. The remaining eight elected DireGi:ors shall be Appointed by the
Executive Committee to fill each of the following described standing committees
and the duties of the Directors shall be the Chairmanship of the committees and
to assist the Executive committee in the earring out of its duties:
1. DUTIES OF MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE: The duties of the membership committee
are to promulgate membership drives and to assist and correlate the activities
of fellow members who aid them in membership drive.
2. DUTIES OF PROGRAM C014MITTEE: The duties of the Program Committee are
to obtain speakers and films for Club meetings and otherwise program the meetings
with the view of stimulating the greatest possible attendance and interest.
3. DUTIES OF PUBLICITY COMMITTEE; The duties of the Publicity Committee
are to dissemite through every possible media, aspects of the Club's aims,
functions and projects.
4. DUTIES OF PROJECTS COMMITTEE: The duties of the Projects Committee are
the planning and execution of fund raising and other club projects.
5. PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE: The duties of the Public Relations
Committee are to secure and matte arrangements for regular club meetings and
serve as official greeters for the club.
6. SOCIAL COMMITTEE: The duties of the Social Committee are to assume
the assigned reponsibilities for all club social functions other than regular
meetings.
7. FINANCE COMMITTEE: The duties of the Finance Committee are to be an
audit, at such times as the President shall direct, but not less than once
annually at the end of the fiscal year, the books of the Treasurer and all other
officers or committees entrusted with funds of the Club. The finance Committee
shall make a written report of its findings to the Executive Committee.
8. SERGEANT -AT -ARMS COMMITTEE: The duties of the Sergeant -At -Arms
Committee are to preserve order and execute commands of the President, Executive
Co,tinittee or Board of Directors. The Committee shall see that regular meetings,
social and other functions of the Club are conducted in accordance with Robert's
Rules of Order.
ARTICLE VI
Officers
The Elective Officers shall be as follows and in the order named:
President
First Vice -President
Second Vice -President
Secretary
Treasurer
SECTION 1. TE,dURE AND DUTIES: The Officers shall be elected at the
annual meeting; shall c rs,, ?1lP their respective officer.- at tha Fl.nnuel meeting

successive terms in any office and sh77.1, at the end of the fi.3cs11 year, if
requested by the President, report in writing to the club their Official acts,
which reports will be filed by the Secretary as a permanent record of the club.
SECTION 2. REMOVAL FROM OFFICE: An Officer Director or Executive
committeew.in may be removed from office for delinquency, inefficiency, nelect
of duty, or just cause in the same manner as prescribed for the expulsion of a
member.
SECTION III. VACANCIES IN OFFICE: In case of the death, resignation or
removal of the President, the First and Second Vice -Presidents, in that order,
shall succeed to office. In case of the death, resignation or removal of any
other officer, the vacancy shall be filsedby the President with the approval of
the Executive Committee.
SECTION 4. (A) DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT: The President shall be chief
Executive Officer of the club and Chairman of the Executive Committee. He shall
perform the duties as required under this Constitution and the By -Laws adopted
pursuant thereto.
(B) DUTIES OF THE FIRST AND SECOND VICE-PRESIDENT: The First
and Second Vice -Presidents, in that order, shall perform the duties of the
President in his absence or his inability to discharge the duties pertaining to
the office, and shall perform such other duties as may be required by the President
this Constitution and By -Laws adopted pursuant thereto.
(C) DUTIES OF THE SECRETARY: The. Secretary shall conduct the
general correspondence of the club; keep a record of the proceedings of the
meetings of the club; keep a rostrum of the membership and cornmi_tLnes of the club;
maintain and preserve the archieves of the club, other than the original draft
of this constitution and By -Laws, which the First Secretary that assumes office
sh0l. deposit for safe keeping with the office of the Principal of the Trinity
00 School, and, perform such other duties as properly pertain to the office or
ao may be required by this Constitution and the By -Laws adopted pursuant thereto.
(D) DUT!XS OF THE TREASURER: The Treasurer shall receive all
monies due the club, depositing same to its credit in such bank as may be
Mignated in the By -Taws; m ke disbursement of club funds only an authorized by
the club or Executive Committee; keep an itemized record of all monies received,
by Mahom paid, and for what purpose and submit an accounting to the Executive
Committee, whauever requested by it, and to the club at the end of the fiscal
year, and perform such other duties as properly pertain to the office or as may
be regvired by this Constitution and the By -Laws adopted pursuant thereto.
ARTICLE VII
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee shall consist ok the President, 7!rjt and Second

Pr.inc.i.p& of Trinity High School, and the Aend Coach of TrinA�J School. The
latter three designnhed coAwitteenlnn being ex-officio members M the committees.
The Chairman of the Executive Committee shall be the President of the club.
SECTION 1. DUTIES: The Executive Committee shall be the administrative
board of the club and shall have the power and authority and is charged with the
rtui;y to do and perform oil acts and function, not violate of this Constitution,
necesstry to carry out the purposes for which this club was orgonized.
SECTION 2. QUORUM: Any three (3) members of the Executive Committee in
good standing, shall constitute a quorum for transaction of business at any regular
E%ecuti_ve Committee meeting.
ARTICLE VIII
Committees
The President, at the annual meeting in which he was elected, or within
30 days thereafter, shall appoint the chairmen of the standing committees From
the Directors also elected at such meeting.
SECTION 1. SPECIAL COMITTEES: The President shall appoint such other
committees to carry out the general functions of the club at such time and in
such manner as his discretion shall dictate, However, such special committee
chairmen shall not be considered as a member of the Board of Directors.
SECTION 2: NOMINATIOZIS C01,11ITTEE: There shall be five (5) members of the
Nominations Committee composed as follows:
A. The Principal of the Trinity High School shall be one member of the
Nominations Committee.
B. The Executive Committee shall appoint two (2) members of the Nominations
Committee who are members of the Executive Committee.
C. The President shall appoint two (2) members of the Nominations Committee
who are other than members of the official Board of Directors.
DUTIES: The duties of the Nominations Committee are to nominate members
for elective offices; tabulate the votes for offices at the annual meetings; and,
to certify to the Club the names of the candidates who receive the most votes for
the respective offices.
ARTICLE IX
Meetings
SECTION 1. ANNUALS: There shall be an annual meeting of the club during
the month of May at such time ac provided by the By -Laws.

ARTICLE X
Admission Fees and Dues
There shall be an admission fee and annual dues required for membership to
the club, the amount of which shall be fix by the By -Laws. The payment of the
admission fee constitutes payment of the annual dues for the fiscal year for
which the member joins the club. Thereafter, dues are payable for the member
jo._ns the club. Thereafter, dues are payable for the amount fixed by the By -Laws
to continue active membership in the club. Members who fail to make payment of
annual dues by October 1 of the fiscal year are suspended from all rights,
privileges and benefits of membership until such times as said annual dues are
peid. Applications for membership, to be eligible to vote at the annual meeting
for the new fiscal year, must pay the membership fee by the annual meeting.
ARTICLE XI
Expulsion from Membership
SECTION 1. NOTICE OF CHARGES PREFERRED: The Executive Committee or
Board of Directors shall by a majority vote have the power and authority to
expel for cause any member of the club; provided, such member shall have given
notice and a copy in writing of the charges preferred, and a reasonable
opportunity to be heard previous to such act_on.
SECTION 2. RIGHT TO APPEAL: Any member expelled from the club shall be
netifiee by Registered Ma-U of iti.s expulsion and of his -night to appeal. Such
nc.tice shall be sent to his last address of record with the club. The President
shall appoint a special coaftnittee from the membership at large to consider such
appeal and their decision shall be binding.
ARTICLE XII
Authority to Adopt By -Laws
The Executive Committee and the Boa=d of Directors shall have the power
and authority to make and enforce such By-Laas, rules and regulations as it
may deem necessary, not inconsistent with the provisions of this constitution;
provided, that any By -Laws increasing the admission fee for membership in the
club :,I1a1.1 not take effect iintil approved by a majority vote of the members
pr,sr,.nt at an annual meeting r_f the club.
ARTICLE XIII

This Conotitution may be ramended only in one of the following manners:
1. The affirmative vote the gin?jority of the members in good standing
aL- an annual meeting of thz .w'Lub.
2. The affirmative vote of the majority of the members in good standing
at a regular meeting of the club attended by a majority of the member-
ship.
3. In either event notice shall be sent to all membe-s of the club not
more than 30 days nor less than S days of the intent to ammend this
constitution and such notice shall state in brief terms the proposed
amendment.
ARTICLE XIV
Effective Date
If this revised Constitution is adopted by a vote of the majority of the
presently constituted club membership that is present- at a regular meeting, to
be held at 7:30 P.M.
It: shall take effect on
sL.bject to the following provisions:
1. The present officers shall continue in office until the first Monday
in May, 1969.
2. The annual meeting and the election of: officers for the ensuing fiscal
year shall be in the manner and at the time and place provided in this
constitution and the Ey_laws thereof.
