Parks and Leisure Services Board
September, 09, 2024
The regular meeting of the Parks and Leisure Services Board was called to order at 6:00 PM. On
Monday, September, 09, 2024, in the Council Chambers of the Euless City Hall building by
Chairman Jones. Other Board Members present: Steve Doty, John Raab, Roger Sickler, Zariyan
Stark and Laird Leavoy. Members absent: Magen Brown.
Staff members present: Director of Parks and Community Services Duane Strawn, Assistant Parks
and Community Service Director Elizabeth Johnson, Parks Manager Randy Leach, Parks at Texas
Star General Manager Chris Thames, Aquatics/Senior Superintendent Richard Sharnsky,
Recreation Superintendent Alex Harvey and Administrative Secretary Jodie Dunn.
Visitors present: None Present
INVOCATION
Roger Sickler gave the invocation.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Jones asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes from the August
05, 2024 regular meeting. Steve Doty made the motion to approve the minutes as presented and
was seconded by Laird Leavoy. The vote was unanimous.
