WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize the City Manager to enter into interlocal
contracts with other governmental entities in order for Euless to take advantage of competitive
bids obtained by others for products needed by this City; and
WHEREAS, other governmental entities have expressed a desire to utilize the competitive
bids obtained by the City of Euless for products desired by such other entities, at no cost to this
City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to promote and enable this cooperative process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT the City Manager is authorized to execute interlocal contracts with other governmental
entities whereby the City of Euless may purchase products under the competitive bids obtained
by such entities.
SECTION 2
THAT the City Manager is authorized to execute interlocal contracts with other governmental
entities and to authorize such entities to utilize the City of Euless' competitive bids for such
entities so long as such entities assume all responsibility and cost for placing their own orders,
verifying quantity and quality delivered and making their own payments directly to the vendors.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 11th day of February, 1997, by
a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
