Euless' Arbor Daze festival will
see even bigger changes this Year.
The event is being moved to better
city of Euless, said the new location
- north of State HighwaY 183 be-
tween Fuller Wiser Road and Bear
Creek Parkway - will offer visitors
on-site parking for the first time in
the festival's ll-year historY.
Arbor Daze is billed as the larg-
est nonalcoholic, free, familYori'
ented festival in the state of Texas.
Tbe event, which has received na-
tional awards from the Internation'
al Festivals and Events Association
and the Arbor DaY Foundation, wiII
feature nightly musical entertain'
ment by acts such as Three Dog
Night, Frankie Valli, The Coasters'
The Drifters and The Platters.
Other highlights of the event'
which places a strong emPhasis on
the importance of Planting trees
and improving the environment,
include a business exPosition, an
so popular because it is family{ri'
ented and a noualcoholic event,"
Ms. Krau said. "Also, people really
seem to get into the sPirit and the
idea behind the event, which is
planting and caring for trees and
helping our environment."
