RESOLUTION NO. 97 -978 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, APPROVING ADVERTISING AND BIDDING, APPROVING AND ADOPTING ENGINEER'S COST ESTIMATE AND ENGINEERS ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR WESTPARK WAY FROM HIGHWAY 10 TO HIGHWAY 183. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: Section 1 The City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, has previously determined the necessity for improving Westpark Way, between State Highway 10 and State Highway 183, and has announced its intention to assess for the improvements. Section 2 The City Engineer has caused plans and specifications to be prepared and they are complete and acceptable. Section 3 The plans and specifications are acceptable and approved for advertisement for bidding. Section 4 The City Engineer has prepared a cost estimate for the project. The total estimated cost of the project is approximately $3,606,536.00. A portion of this project is to be funded by the State of Texas. The estimated approximate cost to the City of Euless, Texas is $723,476.00. Section 5 At the direction of the City Engineer, an assessment roll has been prepared setting forth the names of all property owners which hold title to property abutting that portion of Westpark Way which is to be improved and whose property may be subject to assessment. A true and correct copy of the assessment roll is attached to this resolution. Section 6 This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption. ADOPTED this 12th day of August 1997, at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
