A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EULESS
SUPPORTING THE CITY OF ARLINGTON IN THEIR
BID FOR THE 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES
WHEREAS, the Olympic Games represent the spirit of cooperation and unity
through sporting events; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless realizes the social and economic benefit of hosting
the Olympic Games; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless recognizes that the City of Arlington has taken the
lead in bidding for the 2012 Olympic Games
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Euless supports the City
of Arlington in its bid for the 2012 Olympic Games.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 25th day of
November, 1997 by a vote of 6 ayes, o nays, and o
abstentions.
