AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE
TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY PERMITS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS
CROSSING OR CONNECTING TO TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY FACILITIES
OR WITHIN TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Trinity River Authority of Texas requires the City of Euless to
obtain permission when the City and/or a developer desires to 1) construct
improvements that cross or connect to Trinity River Authority facilities and 2)
occupy a Trinity River Authority easement; and
WHEREAS, Trinity River Authority grants permission in the form of a permit
containing conditions to be placed upon the construction, operation and
maintenance of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Trinity River Authority requires the City to accept the conditions
through the execution of the permit by an authorized representative;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Euless City Council hereby
authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute and/or accept in the
name of the City of Euless Trinity River Authority permits governing the
construction, operation and maintenance of improvements crossing or
connecting to Trinity River Authority facilities and occupying Trinity River
Authority easements.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Euless, Texas on the 8th of December, 1998, by a vote of 7 ayes,
0 nays and 0 abstentions.
