A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, DESIGNATING THE COMMERCIAL RECORDER AS THE
OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF RECORD FOR OF THE CITY OF EULESS;
REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS
RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Government Code 2051.049, it is
provided that the City Council shall select one or more newspapers to publish
official notices.
WHEREAS, the Commercial Recorder is a newspaper of general circulation
in the City and meets the requirements to be designated as a newspaper of
record as listed in the Texas Government Code, Section 2051.044; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the citizens
of City of Euless, Texas, to designate the Commercial Recorder as the official
newspaper of the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The Commercial Recorder is hereby designated as the official newspaper of
record of the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, and all ordinances, legal
notices and other matters required by the laws of the State of Texas, or by the
Charter of the City, or by Ordinance of the City shall be published therein.
SECTION 2.
All resolutions, or parts of resolutions in force with provisions relating to this
resolution, which are inconsistent or in conflict with the terms or provisions contained
herein, are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict only. The non -conflicting
sections, sentences, paragraphs, and phrases shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and approval.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
January 14, 2025, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
