AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LETTER OF
INTENT WITH THE DALLAS STARS HOCKEY CLUB
REGARDING THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A
RECREATIONAL ICE SKATING FACILITY AT THE TEXAS
STAR ATHLETIC COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, the City of Euless and the Dallas Stars Hockey Club desire to enter into
negotiations to pursue the project of constructing a recreational ice skating facility at the
Texas Star athletic complex in the City of Euless; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the construction of the facility and the related site and
infrastructure improvements will be completed by February 29, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Euless City Council hereby authorizes the
execution of a Letter of Intent between the City of Euless and the Dallas Stars Hockey
Club to pursue the project of constructing a recreational ice skating facility at the Texas
Star athletic complex in the City of Euless.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Euless, Texas, on the 23rd day of March, 1999, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays,
and 0 abstentions.
