A RESOLUTION RESCHEDULING THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL
MEETING IN AUGUST 2025 FROM TUESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2025, TO
MONDAY, AUGUST 18, 2025, AND ADDING A REGULAR MEETING
DATE OF MONDAY, AUGUST 25, 2025.
WHEREAS, State law establishes specific deadlines for the adoption of the budget
and tax rate; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a FY2025-2026 budget cycle that
conforms to the requirements of state law; and
WHEREAS, the approved budgetary schedule conflicts with the dates of regularly
scheduled council meetings for the city council consideration of the FY2025-2026 budget
and tax rate ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 00-1058 was approved to provide for the rescheduling of
a Regular City Council Meeting to a date other than the second or fourth Tuesday of the
month.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The regularly scheduled City Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, August 26,
2025, has been rescheduled to Monday, August 18, 2025, and one additional regular
meeting will occur on Monday, August 25, 2025, to accommodate the adoption of the
FY2025-2026 budget and tax rate in accordance with state law.
SECTION 2.
The City Secretary shall cause to be published this notice of rescheduled meeting
at least one time in the official newspaper of the city.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
February 11, 2025, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and o abstentions.

a public hearing will be held
to receive public comment
regarding the proposed draft
Tarrant County 2025-2029
Consolidated Plan (July 2025
through June 2029) which
includes Program Year 2025
Action Plan for Community
Development. This proposed
Consolidated Plan and Action
Plan meets federal require-
ments under the Communi-
ty Development Act of 1974
and the National Housing
Affordability Act of 1990, as
amended. The Plan will be
submitted to the U.S. Depart-
ment of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) to meet
application requirements
for the Community Develop-
ment Block Grant (CDBG), the
HOME Investment Partner-
ship Housing Grant (HOME)
and the Emergency Solutions
Grant (ESG).
HUD allocations for 2025
Tarrant County formula allo-
cations for CDBG, HOME, and
ESG for PY 2025 has not been
released to date, but planning
has moved forward based on
2024 allocations. The amount
allocated to Tarrant County
CDBG includes amounts for
city entitlements for Cities
of Euless, North Richland
Hills, Grapevine and Mans-
field. These cities have pop-
ulations exceeding 50,000
which qualify these cities for
metropolitan entitlement sta-
tus granting these cities their

Services, Salvation Army- Fort
Worth, Salvation Army -Arling-
ton, Center for Transforming
Lives (Formerly YWCA), and
True Worth. Funds will be
used to pay for utilities and
general operating costs at the
shelters.
Homelessness Prevention -
Tarrant County Community
Development Department
staff will administer this pro-
gram to assist extremely low
income persons with a notice
to vacate or eviction notice
with rental and/or utility
assistance to prevent home-
lessness.
HMIS data management
- Tarrant County Homeless
Coalition will be funded to
manage the HMIS system
Program administration will
be funded at no more than
7.5% of total ESG allocation
