NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Euless City Council that an election has
been ordered to be held in the City of Euless on Saturday, April 14, 1973,
for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the City of Euless
for adoption or rejection, the following proposed amendments to the existing
City Charter, to wit:
AMENDMENT NO. I
Should Section 1, Article III of the Euless City Charter as amended
on February 18, 1969, be amended to provide that the regular city election
shall be held annually on the first Saturday in April?
Answer: Yes
No
AMENDMENT NO. 2
Should there be added to the Euless City Charter a new Article XIII
providing for the creation of a six (6) member Parks and Recreation Board?
Answer: Yes
No
AMENDMENT NO. 3
Should there be added to the Euless City Charter a new Article XIV
providing for the creation of a six (6) member Library Board?
Answer: Yes
No
The polling place for said election shall be the Euless City Hall,
located at 201 Ector Drive in the City of Euless, Texas. The election
shall be held between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and 7:00 o'clock P.M.
Voting by absentee ballot in said election shall commence on March 26,
1973, in the office of City Secretary of the City of Euless. Voting by
absentee ballot shall close at 5:00 o'clock P.M., April 10, 1973.
The following persons are hereby appointed to serve as election
officials:
Mr. W. W. Cromer, Election Judge
Mrs. Ruth Jemison, Assistant Election Judge

NOTICE is hereby given that an election will be held in the
City of Euless, Texas, on the second Saturday of April, 1973,
the same being April 14, 1973, for the purpose of electing
a Mayor and two (2) City Councilmen, full term.
Filing deadline for the above offices is March 14, 1973;
Candidates may register at the Office of City Secretary,
Euless City Hall.
