PARKS, RECREATION, AND OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN
September 11, 2024
A joint worksession session of the Euless City Council and the Euless
Development Corporation (EDC) was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Mayor Linda.
Martin on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in the precouncil meeting room of the
Euless City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive, Euless, Texas.

City Manager Getchell outlined the purpose of the worksession.
Philip Neeley and Anita Beard reviewed the process for updating the Parks,
Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan, which included an inventory of current
facilities and offerings as well as the needs of the community. Additionally, they
reviewed the priority rankings for programs and facilities as identified by the
responses to the citizen input survey.
City Manager Getchell and Deputy City Manager Barker addressed questions from
the City Council and Euless Development Corporation related to the topics
discussed.

There being no further discussion, Mayor Martin adjourned the meeting at 6:56
