Should Section 2, Article II of the Euless City Charter be amended to change the qualifications for
office of Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Euless to conform with current constitutional
requirements established by the courts by deleting the requirement for real property ownership, by
changing the Euless residency requirement from two (2) years to one (1) year, and deleting the
requirement that a candidate may not be in arrears in the payment of any obligation due the City?

Should Section ',9, Article II of the Euless City Charter be amended to provide a vacancy in the
office of Mayor or any Councilman who has missed three (3) regular consecutive meetings of the
Council unless prevented from attendance by sickness or unless leave of absence was previously
obtained?

Should Section 2, Article II of the Euless City Charter be amended to dispense with the require-
ment of formal reading of each ordinance in its entirety by the Council and in place thereof allow
the reading by the Council of the descriptive caption of such ordinance which provides a briefer
detail of the terms and provisions of the ordinance?

Should Section 3, Article If of the Euless City Charter be amended to change the form of applica-
tion to become a candidate for the office of Mayor or City Councilman to conform with current con-
stitutional requirements established by the courts by deleting the requirement for real property
ownership, changing the Euless residency requirement from two (2) years to one (1) year, and
deleting the requirement that a candidate may not be in arrears of the payment of any obligation
due the City?

name of the City court from the "Euless Corporation Court" to the "Euless Municipal Court" in com-

and to require that the Municipal Judge or Judges be an attorney at law?

Should Section 2, Article XII of the Euless City Charter be amended so that citizens of Euless will
not be disqualified from holding office or employment with the City solely because of the fact that
they are a shareholder or director owning less than five per cent (5%) of the stock of a company
or because they are strictly salaried employees of a company contracting or selling to the City?
Any officer or employee of the City having any other financial interest in a contract with the City,
however, would continue to be ineligible to serve as an officer or employee of the City?
