AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY 0F EULESS,
TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME
A PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT TTHE CITIZENS AND
INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE SHALL ENTITLED TO ALL
OF THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID
CITY AND TO BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES
NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED;
FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING
THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY AS HERE
TOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts 1953, 53rd
L Cislature, Pare 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974 -"
Midway Park Developers, Joint Venturers, of Dallas Count-, Texas,
owners of the real property hereinafter described, have made
application as by law provided to the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Euless, Texas, requesting annexation to the City of
Euless, Texas, of one tract of land out of the J.P. Halford
Survey, in Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:

la.w, has received said petition and duly and le; -all.y considered
the same, and it appearin�T to the Council of said City, that all
statutory requirements in connection with said application with
said application have been fulfilled and that said area is adjacent
and contiguous to the City of Euless, 'Texas, and is not more than
one -half mile in width on which not more than three qualified
voters reside, all of which the Council so finds.

1.
TUAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed
be entitled to all the rights and privileges of other Citizens
and property owners of said City, and be bound b'* all o£ tl ^e acts
and ordinances made in conformity thereto now ir, full force and
effect and that which may be hereinafter adornted.
2.
TrAT, the property hereinabove described and as shown on the
plat attached hereto, bein!, adjacent and contiguous to the
City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby annexed and brou-ht
within the Corporate Lir;its of the City of Euless, Texas, and
is hereby made an intep,ral part thereof.
3.
THA`1', the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended be and is hereby amended
so as to include the aforementioned described therein territory as
part of the City of Euless, Texas.
