AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1 1/2-A "ZONING", 1 1/2-20
'MISCELLANEOUS FEES", AND 1 1/2-^4 1/2.30 "CABLE TV
FRANCHISE", AND DELETING SECTION 1 1/2-4.44(A) "SIGNS AND
BILLBOARDS", OF CHAPTER 1 1/2, "SCHEDULE OF FEES", OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, TO REVISE AND
REORGANIZE FEES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING
A SAVING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, certain fees approved by City Council in the past were not
included in the most recent revised fee ordinance; and
WHEREAS, certain fees can be relocated to different sections of the fee
ordinance to facilitate efforts by citizens to determine appropriate fees for
certain activities; and
WHEREAS, certain fees have increased or been added;
NOW, THEREFCCE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUIESS,
TEXAS THAT:
I.
That Section 1 1/2-A: "ZONING" of Chapter 1 1/2, "SCHEDULE OF FEES" of the
Code of Ordinances, City of Euless, Texas, as amended, be hereby amended to
hereafter be and read as follows:
SECTION 1/2-A: ZONING
APPLICATIONS FOR CHANGE OF ZONING:
Planned Development (PD) $500.00 + $10 per acre
Community Unit Developments (CUD) $500.00 + $10 per acre
All zoning change requests other than "PD"
& "CUD" containing a land area between:
0 to 1/2 acres $125.00
1/2+ to 5 acres $250.00
5+ to 25 acres $500.00
over 25 acres $500.00 + $10 per acre
PER1ITS:
Applications for Specific Use Permit
containing site area (including parking)
between:
0 to 1/2 acres $125.00
1/2+ to 5 acres $250.00
5+ to 25 acres $500.00
over 25 acres $500.00 + $10 per acre
SIGNS
Annual permit for permanent
off-premise sign $ 35.00 per year
Weekend permit for temporary
off-premise signs $ 10.00 per weekend
Special Event Sign $ 65.00 per event

be hereby amended to hereafter be and read as follows:
SECTION 1 1/2-4 1/2.30: CABLE TV FRANCHISE
Annual Franchise . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5% of gross revenues
IV.
That Section 1 1/2-4.44(a) , "SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS" of Chapter 1 1/2,
"SCHEDULE OF FEES" of the Code of Ordinances, City of Euless, Texas, be deleted.

V.
Severability Clause. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the
City Council that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of
this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or
section of this ordinance shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional by the
valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity
or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses,
sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have
been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of
any such invalid or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or
section.
VI.
Saving Clause, That Chapter 1 1/2 of the Code of ordinances, City of
Euless, Texas, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect, save and
except as amended by this ordinance.
VII.
Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the
after its passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the
laws of the State of Texas.

Euless City Council on the 11th day of Feb. , 1992; by a vote of 5 ayes,
0 nays and 0 abstentions, at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council
