ORDINANCE APPOINTING BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR
YEAR 1959, AND FIXING TIME FOR FIRST MEETING OF
SUCH BOARD
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a Boaru of Equalization be appointed to
exam_ne, correct, equalize; appraise acd approve the assessment lists of the
Tax Asse:�or of the City of Euless, Texas for the year 1959;
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS)
TEXAS:
I.

and each being a qualified voter, a resident and
a property owner of the City of Euless, Texas, be and they are hereby appoint-
ed as the Board of Equalization in and for the City of Euless, Texas, for the
year 1959•
II.
Before said Board shall enter upon its duties, each member thereof shall
subscribe to the following oath of office:

further solemnly swear that I have read and understand the provisions con-
tained in the Constitution. and Laws of the State relative to the valua-
tion of taxable property, and that I will faithfully perform all the duties
required of me under the Constitution and Laws of this State. So help me
God.
III.
That t'ne City Secretary of the City of Euless, Texas shall act as
Secretary of the Board of Equalization, and shall attend each meeting of
said Board.
IV.
That said Board of Equalization shall hold its first meeting on the
day of 1959•
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City; of Euless, Texas, on this the day of May, 1959.
