AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY ADJACENT AND
CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT SUCH
AREA SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT THE OWNERS
AND INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL OF THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY AND BE BOUND BY
THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREIN-
AFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND COR-
RECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY AS HERETOFORE
ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts 1953, 53rd Legislature
Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974 -G, Rainbow Homes, Inc., of
Dallas County, Texas, owners of the real property hereinafter described, have
made application as by law provided to the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Euless, Texas, requesting annexation to the City of Euless, Texas, of a
tract of land situated in the E. Rogers Survey, Abstract No. 1299, Tarrant
County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of State Highway 157,
at its intersection with the North line of Pipe Line Road;
THENCE North 0 deg. 03 min. 40 sec. West, a distance of 269.97 feet;
THENCE North 89 deg. 57 min. 20 sec. East, a distance of 150.0 feet;
THENCE North 0 deg. 02 min. 40 sec. West, a distance of 85.00 feet;
THENCE South 89 deg. 57 min. 20 sec. West, a distance of 74.0 feet;
THENCE South 0 deg. 02 min. 40 sec. East, a distance of 8.0 feet;
THENCE South 89 deg. 57 min. 20 sec. West, a distance of 8.0 feet;
THENCE North 0 deg. 02 min. 40 sec. West, a distance of 8.0 feet;
THENCE South 89 deg. 57 min. 20 sec. West, a distance of 68.0 feet
to the East line of Highway No. 157;
THENCE North 0 deg. 03 min. 40 sec. West, a distance of 286.25 feet;
THENCE South 89 deg. 10 min. East, a distance of 644.0 feet;
THENCE South 0 deg. 40 min. 30 sec. East, a distance of 614.51 feet
to the North line of Pipe Line Road;
THENCE South 88 deg. 28 min. 05 sec. West, a distance of 650.72 feet
to the point of beginning and containing 9.038 acres of land,more
or less.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Euless, Texas, as provided by law, has received
said petition and duly and legally considered the same, and it appearing to the
Council of said City, that all statutory requirements in connection with said
application have been fulfilled and that said area is adjacent and contiguous
to the City'of Euless „ Texas, and is not more than one -half mile in width on
which not more than three qualified voters reside, all of which the Council
so finds.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
THAT, the property hereinabove described and as shown on the platfattached
hereto, being adjacent and contiguous to the City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and -
is hereby annexed and brought within, the Corporate Limits of the City of Euless,
Texas, and is hereby made an integral part thereof.

THAT, the owners acrd inhabitants of the area herein annexed be entitled to
all the rights and privileges of other Citizens and property owners of said City,
and be bound by all of the acts and ordinances made in conformity thereto, now
in full force and effect and that which may be hereinafter adopted.

THAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless, Texas, as
heretofore adopted and amended be and is hereby amended so as to include the
aforementioned described therein territory as part of the City of Euless,
Texas.
THAT ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor, and duly attested by
the City Secretary.
