AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED AS
THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF DESIGNA-
TION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO CON-
FORM SVITH SUCH AMENDMENT: AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
NHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from the owner of real property here-
inafter described, situated within said City, and having held public
hearing thereon, in which all interested owners of property in the
vicinity of said realty were given ample opportunity to be heard in
connection with said application, have recommended to the City Council
a change in designation of said tract, and as by law provided pub-
lication of notice of final hearing on said recommendation to be held
before the City Council was held by publishing the same in the Mid -
City News, the official Newspaper of the City, on the 4th day of June,
1959, and after said public hearing being held in accordance with
said notice in which all owners of property in the City of Euless,
Texas were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the
City Council deems it to the best interest of said City and its
inhabitants that such recommendation be approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ordered that the official district zoning map of
the City of Euless, Texas, being part of Ordinance No. 33, be,
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
That the designation of the property described as follows:
Being a part of the J.P.Halford Survey, in Tarrant County,
Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the ''Seat line of North Main Street at
the Southwest corner of a tract of land owned by Ralph Switzer
as recorded in Vol. 2604, page 524, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas;
THENCE North with the 'Nest line of North Main Street 676.2 feet;
THENCE `Nest 190 feet;
THENCE South with the West line of property owned by Warren
Fuller and Joseph R. Duckett 572.5 feet to a point in the North
line of the Ralph Switzer property;
THENCE West 20 feet;
THENCE South with the 'Nest line of the Switzer property 103.7
feet tothe Southwest corner thereof;
THENCE East with the South line of the Switzer property 210 feet
to the place of beginning;
now zoned "A" Single 'Family Dwelling, be zoned "B" Local Business.
II.
THIS OPDIITANCE shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by law provided.
ADOPTED this the 14th day of July, 1959.
