On Monday, August, 04, 2025, in the conference room at the Euless Family Life Senior Center by Chairman Jones. Other Board Members present: John Raab, Gabriel Rosas, Roger Sickler, and Magen Brown. Members absent: Steve Doty and Laird Leavoy. Staff members present: Director of Parks and Community Services Duane Strawn, Assistant Parks and Community Service Director Elizabeth Johnson, Aquatics/Senior Superintendent Richard Sharnsky, Recreation Center Supervisor Chance Boyd, Senior Center Supervisor Shelli Walsh, Recreation Assistant Jenny Waller, Parks Manager Randy Leach and Administrative Secretary Jodie Dunn. Visitors present: No visitors Present INVOCAT!ON Roger Sickler gave the invocation. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Chairman Jones asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes from the June 02, 2025 regular meeting. Roger Sickler made the motion to approve the minutes as presented and was seconded byJohn Raab. The vote was unanimous. l. Board Member Reports a. Magen Brown -J.A. Parks and Communi tv Services R eoorts a. Recreation Report - Chance Bovd o Chance Boyd gave the Park Board Members and Staff a walking tour and discussion of the Euless Family Life Center. Chance showed the group the Fitness Center, Activity Rooms, Gym, Racquetball Courts, Cardio Rooms and Offices. Parks and Leisure Services Board Page 2 ll, Business of the Tree Board a. Total man hours for June 1't - 30th = 532 Rich Sharnsky gave the Park Board a tour of the Natatorium. During the tour, swim lessons were observed with the Park Board members learning how the swim lesson registration works. Shelli Walsh gave the Park Board a tour of the Euless Family Life Senior Center. Shelli showed the Park Board the Library, game room, Arts and Crafts Room (which are the rooms used for voting), Computer Lab, Coffee Station/Billiards Area and the tour ended in the Ballroom. a Jenny Waller was introduced to the Board as the new Recreation Center at the Sen ior Center. Duane let the Board know that Budget Approvals should be coming and in the future meetings he will share future projects going on in the Parks and Community Service Department. Chairman Jones thanked the staff for their reports and tour.
