CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Parks and Leisure Services Board was called to order at 6:00 PM. On
Monday, December, 01,2025, in the Ballroom of the Euless Family Life Center Senior Center
building by Chairman Jones. Other Board Members present: John Raab, Steve Doty, Roger Sickler,
Gabriel Rosas, Brenda Dyer, Barbara Kayster and Genesis Reza.
Staff members present: Director of Parks and Community Services Duane Strawn, Assistant Parks
and Community Service Director Elizabeth Johnson, Recreation Superintendent Alex Harvey, Parks
Manager Randy Leach, PATS General Manager Chris Thames and Administrative Assistant Jodie
Du nn.
Visitors present: Loretta Doty, Kim Raab, Patty and Cameron
INVOCATION
Roger Sickler gave the invocation.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Jones asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes from the
November 03,2025 regular meeting. Roger Sickler made the motion to approve the minutes as
presented and was seconded by Barbara Kayster. The vote was unanimous.

Tree Board Chairman Roger Sickler reported the following for November 2025:
a. Total man hours for November lst - 30th = 612
o 139 Horticulture
. 1L3 Forestry
. 64 Greenhouse
t 296 Specia I Projects
o 20 Training
o Removed 2 Pine Trees at Wilshire Park
r Remove branches from wind and storm damage in parks and facilities
o Trimmed suckers on Mid Cities and Harwood medians
r Trimmed trees along creek at J.A. Carr and Hwy 10
o Trimmed trees along trail at Villages of Bear Creek
o Gathered acorns around Euless for Arbor Daze trees

Thank you to Elizabeth Maddox and Jodie Dunn for putting in the work to get the
Park Board dinner together.
A Parks Master plan was given to each Park Board member so they are able to read
and familiarize themselves with the most up to date information.
Chairman Jones thanked the staff for their reports.
