While it may be frigid outside, our events this month will surely warm your heart. From the the Daddy/Daughter V a l e n t i n e ’ s Dance to the Romantasy Lock-In at the Library, there’s an event for every age. Look for these events within this publication and don’t forget to visit the City’s calendar at www.eulesstx.gov/events.
If you’re looking for a convenient way to thaw out, visit our heated indoor pool. The Natatorium is located inside the Euless Family Life Center and is open year-round for recreational swimming, exercise classes, and swim lessons. For membership rates and daily fees, call 817-685-1666.
The City Council and City staff heard directly from you at our recent Town Hall meeting, and I want to personally thank you for attending and making your voice heard. We will be sharing City facility updates and new businesses in the coming months. I am so proud to call Euless my home and so appreciative to be able to serve as its mayor for the past eleven years.

General Election Candidate Filing
Filing for a place on the May 2, 2026 City of Euless General Election ballot ends on Friday, February 13 at 5 p.m. Qualified persons may file as a candidate for Mayor, Council Place 2, or Council Place 4 of the City Council in the City Secretary’s Office on weekdays. Filing paperwork must be filed with the City Secretary’s Office located at City Hall, 201 N. Ector Drive. Make tax season a little easier by utilizing trained volunteers to help with your tax preparation. This program is open to anyone and no appointment is needed. Intake forms are available at the library and must be filled out before meeting with an AARP volunteer.

Gain valuable insight into the internal operations, values, and philosophy that shape the Euless Police Department. Classes will be held every Tuesday night from February 17 through May 12 (no class on March 17), from 6 to 9 p.m. The minimum age for enrollment is 18 and you must live or work in the City of Euless to be eligible to attend. Summer Camp Lottery Registration
It’s time to start planning for Summer Camp! Euless Parks and Community Services has a three-step registration process: (1) submit your application, (2) a staff member will confirm your enrollment via email, (3) pay a $10 deposit for each week of camp, which will be due before camp begins. Information may be found on the Parks and Community Services page at www.eulesstx.gov or by calling 817-685-1666.

Winter weather in North Texas can be unpredictable. When temperatures fall below freezing, it’s important to follow the four “P’s” of winter weather safety.
People: Keep your family warm and check in on anyone you know that may be vulnerable in winter conditions. Prepare for power outages and minimize time outdoors.
Pipes: Slowly drip water from indoor faucets to prevent pipes from freezing and open the cabinets underneath faucets to allow heat to circulate around the pipes. Disconnect garden hoses from outdoor faucets and cover outdoor pipes and spigots. Turn off automatic sprinkler systems.
Pets: Keep pets warm, dry and indoors as much as possible. Ensure their food and water doesn’t freeze. Limit outside time and keep them bundled up.
Plants: For plants that are vulnerable to colder weather, bring them indoors. Cover outdoor plants before the cold weather sets in.
If your pipes freeze or burst, promptly call the City of Euless Public Works to have the water turned off at the meter to avoid a potential issue when the pipes thaw. For assistance during normal business hours, call 817-685-1580. For after-hours assistance, contact non-emergency dispatch at 817-685-1526.
