A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, AMENDING EARLY VOTING DATES FOR THE GENERAL
ELECTION FOR THE OFFICES OF MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
MEMBERS PLACE TWO AND PLACE FOUR TO BE HELD SATURDAY,
MAY 2, 2026.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Election Code of the State of Texas and the Euless City
Charter, on January 13, 2026, the City Council approved Resolution No. 26-1688, ordering
a General Election to be held May 2, 2026, which included the early voting dates and times;
and
WHEREAS, the Texas Secretary of State Elections Division issued an Election
Advisory dated January 21, 2026, related to the May 2, 2026 Election Law Calendar; and
WHEREAS, April 21, 2026, is recognized as San Jacinto Day and is a legal state
holiday; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Advisory No. 2026-02, early voting will not take place
on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, at a regular meeting held this date,
does hereby amend early voting by personal appearance in accordance with Texas
Secretary of State Elections Division Advisory No. 2026-02 issued January 21, 2026.
SECTION 2.
Early voting by personal appearance shall be conducted at the Euless Family Life
Senior Center, 300 Midway Drive, Euless, Texas, 76039, and at the County's Main Early
Voting location, 2700 Premier Street, Fort Worth, Texas, 76111. Branch offices for early
voting shall also be established as outlined in the joint election agreement with Tarrant
County.
Early voting by personal appearance will begin on Monday, April 20, 2026, and will
end on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the hours designated for early voting by personal
appearance as set forth below or as designated by the Texas Secretary of State and/or
Tarrant County:
April 20 (Monday) 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
April 21 (Tuesday) CLOSED (San Jacinto Day)
April 22 - April 24 (Wednesday- Friday) 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
April 25 (Saturday) 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
April 26 (Sunday) 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 27 — April 28 (Monday — Tuesday) 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
SECTION 3.
This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
February 10, 2026, by a vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
