AN ORDINANCE AMENDING EULESS ORDINANCE NO. 1192
WHICH ORDINANCE ADOPTED THE OFFICIAL OPERATING
AND CAPITAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF EULESS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1995 -1996, TO SUPPLEMENT SAID FISCAL
YEAR 1995 -1996 BUDGET BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF
THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR SOFTBALL WORLD; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, on October 10, 1995,
adopted Ordinance No. 1192, correcting Ordinance No. 1183 and adopting the official
operating and capital budget for the City of Euless for the fiscal year beginning October 1,
1995, and ending September 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, since the passage of said Ordinance No. 1192, a business known as
Softball World located within the City of Euless became available for purchase; and
WHEREAS, since the passage and publication of Ordinance No. 1192, the City Council
of the City of Euless, Texas, has determined that the purchase of the business known as
Softball World by the City of Euless would be in best interests of the citizens of Euless; and
WHEREAS, City staff has prepared an operating budget for Softball World (attached
hereto as Exhibit "A "), to be adopted as a supplement to the fiscal year 1995 -1996 annual
budget; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 14, 1996, on said supplement to the
fiscal year 1995 -1996 City budget and, at the conclusion of such hearing, it was determined
that such supplement should be adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS,TEXAS:
SECTION 1
That Section 1 of said Ordinance No. 1192 be hereby amended by the addition thereto
of the following sentence:
That the operating budget for Softball World for fiscal year
1995 -1996 be and the same is hereby adopted by the Euless City
Council as a supplement to the official budget for the City of Euless
for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1995 and ending
September 30, 1996.

SECTION 2
That all other provisions of said Ordinance No. 1192, dealing with appropriation and
expenditure and investment of such funds are hereby expressly incorporated herein by
reference and made a part of this ordinance as if set forth in full. All revenues generated by
the said Softball World shall be deposited into the Softball World fund, and the expenditures
reflected on the attached Softball World budget are hereby appropriated from said fund for the
purposes therein designated.
SECTION 3
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of
Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST AND FINAL READING AND APPROVED at a regular
meeting of the Euless City Council on the 14th day of May, 1996; by a vote of 7 ayes,
o nays, and o abstentions.
