AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 "FEES ",
SECTION 30 -27 'RECREATION AREAS OR
FACILITIES ", PROVIDING FOR MUNICIPAL GOLF
COURSE GREEN FEES AND MEMBERSHIP FEES,
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SAVING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, a new golf course and club house are under construction for
use by the public; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to establish fees for the
use thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I
Chapter 30, "Fees ", Section 30 -27 'Recreation areas or facilities ", of the
Code of Ordinances, City of Euless, Texas, be hereby amended by adding the
following:

For the purpose of green fees the following definitions shall
apply:
Resident

Membership Fees
A person having a residential Euless mailing
address or who owns a business in Euless.
A person 60 years of age or older at time of play.
A person 17 years of age or under at time of
play.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.
Membership limited to 200 individuals and 100 corporations for a total
of 300 memberships.
First 100 individual memberships - $250 initiation fee; $35 per month
First 50 corporate memberships - $500 initiation fee; $100 per month
(consists of 3 members)
After the initial 100 individual and 50 corporate memberships are
sold. the rates will then increase to:
Remaining 100 individual memberships - $500 initiation fee; $35 per
month
Remaining 50 corporate memberships - $1,000 initiation fee; $100
per month (consists of 3 members)
Minor changes in fees, operations and membership requirements may be
made at the discretion of the City Manager.

SECTION II
SeverabilityClause. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council
that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance
are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this
ordinance shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional by the valid judgement or
decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality
shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and
sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City
Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any such invalid of
unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section.
SECTION III
Saving Clause. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Euless,
Texas, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect, save and except as
amended by this ordinance.
SECTION IV
Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the
laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST AND FINAL READING at a regular meeting of
the Euless City Council on the zLn-d day of October 1996, by a vote
of 7 ayes, o nays and o abstentions.
