AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED AS
THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF DESIGNA-
TION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO CON-
FORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after consideration
of application from the owner of real property hereinafter described, situated
within said City, and having held public hearing thereon, in which all
interested persons and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were
given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said
application, have recommended to the City Council a change in designation of
said tract, and as by law provided, publication of notice of final hearing on
said recommendation to be held before the City Council was had by publishing
the same on the News - Texan, the official newspaper of the City, on the
day of , 1960, and after said public hearing being held in
accordanc6 with said notice in which all owners of propertyin the City of
Euless, Texas, were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the
City Council deems it to be to the best interest of said City and its in-
habitants that such recommendation be approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the official district zoning of the City of
Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to read as follows:
THAT:
TRACT OTT?. Being a tract of land out of the J. P. Halford
Survey, Abstract No. 711, in Tarrant County, Texas, described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 1, of the Fuller Addition
to the City of Euless, Texas, as recorded in Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas;
THENCE South 88 deg, 16 min, East 485,3 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE South 0 deg, 21 min. West 334 Feet to an iron pin;
THENCE South 89 deg. 28 min, West 489 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE North 0 deg. 13 min. West 344.16 ft, to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING, containing 3.79 acres of land; AND
TRACT TWO: Being a tract of land out of the J. P. Halford
Survey Abstract 711, in Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of a tract of land deeded to
the First Baptist Church, Euless, Texas, and recorded in Vol. 2857,
page 98, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas,
THENCE South 0 deg. 13 min. West 20 feet and South 88 deg. 47 min.
West 50 feet to the beginning point of this tract;
THENCE South 88 deg. 47 min. Weat 289.2 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE North 89 deg. 28 min. East 289 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE South 0 deg. 13 min. West 297.02 feet to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING, and containing 1.99 acres of land;
now zoned "A" Single Family Dwelling, be zoned "B ", Local Business.
II.
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
