HomeMy WebLinkAbout133 08-08-1960ORDINANCE NO. 133 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITT OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF DESIGNA- TION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Zoning Commisa"n of the City of Euless, .after consideration of application from the owner of real property hereinafter described, Situated within said city, and having held public hearing thereon, in which all interested persons and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application have recommended to the City Council a change in designation of said tract, and as by law provided, publication of a notice of final hearing on said recommendation to be held before the City Council was had by public ng the she in the News- Texan. the official newspaper of the City, on thel.4b6 day 19600 and after said public hearing being held in kcaorHanca �SCt said notice in which all. owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, re given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deeps it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such recommendation be approved. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULLSS, TRMS! I. IT 18 MOR M ORDERED that the official district zoning of the City of Euless. Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33 be amended to read as follows# THAT the designation of a tract lying and being Situated in the County of Tarrant. State of Taxes, described as follows% RSGINKING at a point in the Nest line of Farm to Market Road No. 157, (Arlington - Grapevine Highway), said point being 929.3 feet North and 50 feet West from the Southeast corner of said A. M. Downing Survey, and being also 1157.7 feet South from the intersection of said west line of Fars to Market Road No. 157 with the South line of State Highway No. 183; THENCE West 964.5 feed THENCE North 0 deg. 17 min. East 305.3 feed THENCS East 641.0 feet] THENCE South 135.0 feat] THEME East 3322.0 fee to a point in the said West line of Farm to :Market Road No. 1571 THENCE South 170.3 feet to the POINT OF BBGINNING; containing 5.75 acres of land, more or lessl now zoned "A" Single Family Dwelling, be zoned "C" Commercial.
