AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30, "FEES ",
SECTION 30 -27, "RECREATION AREAS OR FACILITIES ",
SUBSECTIONS (a) THROUGH (g); SECTION 30 -28,
"LIBRARY"; SECTION 30 -33, "WATER AND SEWER FEES
AND IMPACT FEES'; AND SECTION 30- 39(5), "SITE PLAN
APPROVAL, PER REQUEST' OF THE EULESS CODE OF
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SAVING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1
That Chapter 30, "Fees ", Section 30 -27, 'Recreation Areas or Facility ", Subsections (a)
through (g) be amended to read as follows:
Section 30 -27. Recreation areas or facilities.
Residents of Mosier Valley (generally an area bounded on the east side by the
western property line of the Golf Course at Texas Star, on the west side by Raider Drive, on
the north side by South Pipeline Road, and on the south side by Mosier Valley Road) are
eligible to use recreational facilities at the same rates as Euless citizens.
(a) Bob Eden field rental:
(1) Lighted per hour ............................ $11.00

(b) Parks @ Texas Star field rentals:

(g) The Recreation Department has the right
to determine if additional staff is
needed for the nature and population
of the event, and may make additional
charges for actual costs incurred as

(f) Euless- affiliated nonprofit service organizations:
Small rooms at the Midway Recreation Center
are available for meetings on a first -come basis,
but not on a regular schedule. This must be
during regular operating hours so as not to
require overtime pay for staff.
(g) Gazebo, Pavilion and Amphitheater Rentals:
(1) J.A. Carr Park Gazebo - 4 hours........... 25.00
(2) McCormick Park Gazebo - 4 hours........ 25.00
(3) Bob Eden Park pavilion - 4 hours.......... 25.00

SECTION 4
That Chapter 30, "Fees ", Section 30- 39(5), "Site Plan Approval, Per Request', be amended
to read as follows:

Section 30 -39 (5) Site Plan Approval, Per Request
1. Zero to 1/2 acre $ 62.50
2. >1/2 to 5 acres $125.00
3. >5 to 25 acres $250.00
4. >25 acres $250 + $5 per
acre over 25 acres
SAVING CLAUSE. That applicable chapters of the Code of Ordinances, City of Euless,
Texas, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect, save and except as amended by
this ordinance.
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council
that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are
severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall
be declared invalid or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of
competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the
remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since
the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this
ordinance of any such invalid or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or
section.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State
of Texas.
PRESENTED AND APPROVED ON THE FIRST AND FINAL READING on the a day of
December, 1998, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, by a
vote of 0 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions.
