AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX ON PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR, 1960, PROVIDING PENALTIES,
INTEREST AND LEGAL REMEDIES FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EULESS, TEXAS

That a tax is ►ereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Baless, Texas, for the year,* of 1060,0 at the rate of 50� per One Hundred
Dollar ($100.00) VslssU" for tho following pvrposess
(a) To the extent of 20137.12 of the tax levied upon this Section
is for the puspeM of paying iaterest 04 to maintain a sinking
fond upon the iadebtedows of the City of Euless.
(b) To the extent of all taxes aolleetod under the provision of this
seation is axes" of 20137.12 of , the tax levied by this
section is for Use psrpose of paying current general expenses,
of the C*p and for asking permanent improvements therein.

SSCTION III.
The penalties and interest scer"ag to the State of Texas wad authorised
by tke erdihaaaa of the City of Asless, Texan, upon delinquent taxes are hereby
adopted and shall asexue to the City of Euless when city taxes become delinquent.
The City of Bulsgis is hereby authorised to "opt any and all legal remedies
provided by the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and its ordinances for the
purpose of collecting delinquent taxes.
