HomeMy WebLinkAbout1354 04-13-1999ORDINANCE NO. 1354 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30, "FEES ", SECTION 30 -27, "RECREATION AREAS OR FACILITIES", SUBSECTION (i) "GOLF COURSE GREEN FEES" OF THE EULESS CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SAVING CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: SECTION 1 That Chapter 30, "Fees ", Section 30 -27, 'Recreation Areas or Facility ", Subsection (i) "Golf course green fees" be amended to read as follows: Section 30 -27. Recreation areas or facilities. (i) Golf course green fees: (1) 18 hole non -prime ............................ 37.00 (2) 18 hole non - prime /member .............. 34.00 (3) 18 hole non - prime /resident .............. 25.00 (4) 18 hole prime . ............................... 53.00 (5) 18 hole prime /member .................... 47.00 (6) 18 hole prime /resident .................... 37.00 (7) Twilight non -prime ......................... 18.00 (8) Twilight non - prime /resident .............. 15.00 (9) Twilight prime ............................... 28.00 (10) Twilight prime /resident .................... 21.00 (11) Senior non -prime only ..................... 24.00 (12) Senior non -prime only /resident ......... 18.00 (13) Junior non -prime only ..................... 24.00 (14) Junior non -prime only /resident .......... 18.00 Junior and senior rates are applicable only during non -prime playing time (15) Non -prime tournament .................... 43.00 (16) Prime tournament .......................... 58.00 (17) Cart rentals at all times, per person ... 12.00 Definitions. For the purpose of green fees the Following definitions shall apply: Resident. A person having a residential Euless mailing address or who owns a business in Euless. Senior. A person 60 years of age or older at time of play. Junior, A person 17 years of age or under at the time of play. Prime. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Mon- prime. Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays SAVING CLAUSE. That applicable chapters of the Code of Ordinances, City of Euless, Texas, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect, save and except as amended by this ordinance. SEV®ERABILITY CLAUSE. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any such invalid or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after April 19, 1999. PRESENTED AND APPROVED ON THE FIRST AND FINAL READING on the 13" day of April, 1999, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions.
