AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGES OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from the owner of real property herein-
after described, situated within said City, and having held public
hearing thereon, in which all interested persons and owners of
property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient
opportunity to be heard in connection with said application, have
recommended to the City Council a change in designation of said tract,
and as by law provided, publication of a notice of final hearing on
said recommendation to be held before the City Council was had by
publishing the same in the News - Texan, the official newspaper of the
City, on the i/ cr day of .` ?.r� z 6W,- , 1961, and after said public
hearing being held in accordance with said notice in which all owners
of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were given ample and
sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems it to be
to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such
recommendation be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the official district zoning of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended
to read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract out of the JOHN GROVES
SURVEY, Abstract No. 599, Tarrant County, Texas, and
described as follows:
FIRST TRACT: Being a part of the John Groves Survey,
Abstract No. 599, and being more fully described by metes
and bounds as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe for a corner on the East line
of said Survey, and the South Right -of -Way line of Pipe
Line Road;
THENCE West along the South Right -of -Way of Pipe Line
Road, 588.4 feet to an iron pipe for corner;
THENCE South 1104 feet to an iron pipe for corner, said
point being the Southeast corner of a tract of land con-
veyed to William Fuller, as shown in Deed duly recorded
in Volume 2793, Page 204, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas;
THENCE North 67 degrees, 22 minutes East and along the
North Right -of -Way line of State Highway No. 183, 644.1
feet to an iron pipe for corner;
THENCE North 857.1 feet to point of Beginning, and con-
taining 13.306 acres, more or less.
SECOND TRACT: Being a part of the John Groves Survey,
Abstract No. 599, and being more fully described by metes
and bounds as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe for a corner 1436.4 feet West
of the East line of said survey, same point being the
South Right -of -Way line of Pipe Line Road;
THENCE West along the South Right -of -Way of Pipe Line
Road 402.8 feet to an iron pipe for a corner;
THENCE South 1628.3 feet to an iron pipe for a corner;
THENCE Northeast along the North Right -of -Way of State
Highway No. 183 434.7 feet to an iron pipe for a corner,
said point being the Southwest corner of a tract of land
conveyed to William G. Fuller as shown in Deed recorded
in Volume 2793, Page 204, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas;
THENCE North along the West line of said Fuller tract
1459.2 feet to point of Beginning, and containing 14.23
_ acres, more or less.
now zoned "A" Residential, be zoned "C" Commercial.
II.
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as by law provided.
