AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGES OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from the owner of real property herein-
after described, situated within said City, and having held public
hearing thereon, in which all interested persons and owners of
property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and suffi-
cient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application,
have recommended to the City Council a change in designation of said
tract, and as by law provided, publication of a notice of final
hearing on said recommendation to be held before the City Council was
had by publishing the same in the News - Texan, the official newspaper
of the City, on the /ja day of 1961, and after said
public hearing being held in accordance with said notice in which
all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were given
ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems
it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that
such recommendation be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the official district zoning of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended
to read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract out of the JOHN GROVES
SURVEY, Tarrant County, Texas, and described as follows:
TRACT 4:
BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner 9 varas South and 373.75
varas West from the Northeast corner of the said John Groves
Survey and in existing fence line;
THENCE South 0 degrees, 24 minutes West 1290.3 feet to an iron
pin for corner in the North boundary line of Highway No. 183;
THENCE South 67 degrees, 19 minutes West 434.5 feet along said
North line of Highway No. 183, and existing fence line, to an
iron pin for corner at existing fence line;
THENCE North 0 degrees, 25 minutes East 1457.7 feet along
existing fence line to an iron pin for corner at an existing
fence corner;
THENCE North 89 degrees, 59 minutes East 399.7 feet along
existing fence line to the Point of Beginning, and containing
12.608 acres of land.
TRACT 5:
BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner 9 varas South and 212 varas
West from the corner of the said John Groves Survey and at an
existing fence corner;
THENCE South 89 degrees, 59 minutes West 449.3 feet along said
existing fence line to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE South 0 degrees, 24 minutes West 1290.3 feet to an iron
pin for corner in the North boundary line of Highway No. 183;
THENCE North 67 degrees, 19 minutes East 488.4 feet along said
North line of Highway No. 183, and existing fence line, to an
iron pin for corner at existing fence corner;
THENCE North 0 degrees, 23 minutes East 1102.8 feet along
existing fence line at the Point of Beginning, containing
12.342 acres of land.
now zoned "A" Residential, be zoned "C" Commercial.
II.
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as by law provided.
