AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30, "FEES ",
SECTION 30 -27, "RECREATION AREAS OR FACILITIES ",
BY CREATING A NEW SUBSECTION U) "TEXAS
STARSHOT 29 CALIBER SPECIAL ", AND BY AMENDING
FORMER SUBSECTION 0) "GOLF COURSE MEMBERSHIP
FEES" TO BE REDESIGNATED SUBSECTION (k), OF THE
EULESS CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SAVING
CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1
That Chapter 30, "Fees ", Section 30-27, 'Recreation Areas or Facility ", by creating a new
Subsection 0) 'Texas StarShot 29 Caliber Special' and by amending former Subsection 0)
"Golf course membership fees" to be redesignated as Subsection (k) and to hereafter be
and read as follows:
Section 30 -27. Recreation areas or facilities.
0) Texas StarShot 29 Caliber Special
Available to Euless residents and Texas Star members only .... $5.00 annual fee
Allows residents and members the opportunity to play Texas Star Golf Course for
$29, which includes green fee, electric cart and tax. Must call pro shop on day of
play. Valid when available Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays)
throughout the year.
Euless residents/Texas Star members can also play "free" on those Texas
StarShot Days when accompanied by three full - paying non- residential /non-
members.
Program is to be administered by Head Golf Professional of Texas Star
(k) Golf course membership fees:
SAVING CLAUSE. That applicable chapters of the Code of Ordinances, City of Euless,
Texas, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect, save and except as amended by
this ordinance.
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City
Council that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance
are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance
shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of
competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the
remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since
the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this
ordinance of any such invalid or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or
section.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND APPROVED ON THE FIRST AND FINAL READING on the 14th day
of March, 2001, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, by a
vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions.
