AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
PORTION OF WATER, SEWER AND DRAINAGE
EASEMENTS LOCATED IN THE BEN F. CROWLEY
SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 320, IN THE CITY OF
EULESS, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, after careful
study and consideration has determined that the portions of the water, sewer and
drainage easements hereinafter, specifically described, are not being used by, or
useful, nor convenient to the public in general; therefore, they constitute a public
charge without a corresponding public benefit, and the public would be better
served and benefited by their vacation and abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1
The portions of the water, sewer and drainage easements located in the
Ben F. Crowley Survey, Abstract No. 320, in the City of Euless, Tarrant County,
Texas, particularly described in Exhibit A and Exhibit B attached hereto as part of
the Quitclaim Deed and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes, are
hereby vacated and abandoned as water, sewer and drainage easements.
SECTION 2
The City of Euless, a municipal corporation of the County of Tarrant, State
of Texas, does Quitclaim unto Terry Sandlin Homes, Inc., 5137 Davis Boulevard,
North Richland Hills, Texas, 76180, per the attached Quitclaim Deed, that certain
lot, tract or parcel of land, located in the Ben F. Crowley Survey, Abstract No. 320
in the City of Euless, County of Tarrant, Texas, and more particularly described in
Exhibit A and Exhibit B, attached hereto.
SECTION 3
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
from and after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of
the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST AND FINAL READING, and approved at a
regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 12th day of November, 2002, by
a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF TARRANT
That the City of Euless, a municipal corporation, of the County of Tarrant, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum
of Ten and No/100 ($10.00 ) DOLLARS, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, in accordance with the terms of
Ordinance No. 1558, has QUITCLAIMED, and by these presents does QUITCLAIM, subject to the terms and conditions set
forth below, unto Terry Sandlin Homes. Inc., GRANTEE herein, 5137 Davis Boulevard, North Richland Hills. Texas. 76180,
all its right, title and interest in and to the following described real property situated in the City of Euless, Tarrant County,
Texas, to wit:
ALL that certain lot, tract or parcel of land, located in the Ben F. Crowley Survey, Abstract No. 320 in the City of Euless and
County of Tarrant, Texas, and more particularly described in Exhibit A and Exhibit B, attached hereto.
This QUITCLAIM is subject to the terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 1558 passed by the City Council on November 12,
2002.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all of its right, title and interest in and to the above described property and premises, subject to
the aforesaid, unto the said GRANTEE, its successors or assigns forever, so that neither the City of Euless nor its legal
representatives, successors and assigns shall have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid property, premises or
appurtenances or any part thereof.
