AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
PORTION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS
LOCATED IN THE GLADE MANOR PHASE II ADDITION,
IN THE CITY OF EULESS, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS,
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, after careful study and
consideration has determined that the portions of the drainage and utility easements
hereinafter, specifically described, are not being used by, or useful, or convenient to the
public in general; therefore, they constitute a public charge without a corresponding
public benefit, and the public would be better served and benefited by their vacation and
abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1
The portions of the drainage and utility easements located in the Glade Manor Phase II
Addition, in the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, particularly described in Exhibit 1
and Exhibit 2 attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes, are
hereby vacated and abandoned as drainage and utility easements.
SECTION 2
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective immediately from and after
its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST AND FINAL READING and approved at a regular
meeting of the Euless City Council on the 13th day of May, 2003, by a vote of 7
ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.

DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT A 5/8" IRON ROD CAPPED "CARTER & BURGESS" SET IN THE
NORTH LINE OF SAID GLADE MANOR PHASE 2, BEING S 89 010'13" W, A DISTANCE
OF 380.14 FEET FROM A 1/2" IRON ROD FOUND FOR THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF GLADE MANOR PHASE 1, RECORDED IN VOLUME A, PAGE 7480 OF THE PLAT
RECORDS TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS (P.R.T.C.T.) AND IN THE APPROXIMATE
CENTERLINE OF GLADE ROAD (A VARIABLE WIDTH R.O.W.)
THENCE OVER AND ACROSS SAID GLADE MANOR PHASE 2, THE FOLLOWING
COURSES AND DISTANCES;
