AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2003,
AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2004, PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on August 261h 2003, the Euless City Council adopted the official
budget for the City of Euless for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2003, and ending
September 30, 2004: and
WHEREAS, the FY2002 -03 adopted budget included appropriations for Athletic
Complex Capital Projects in the amount of $1,650,000; and
WHEREAS, a portion of these appropriations were based on anticipated
contributions that may not be received; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens to
continue with the planned projects by amending the budget to provide for an additional
transfer of funds from the car rental operating fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT the official operating budget for the City of Euless for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 2003, and ending September 30, 2004, be amended as follows:

EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective immediately from
and after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State
of Texas.
PRESENTED AND APPROVED ON FIRST AND FINAL READING at a regular
meeting of the Euless City Council on the 13th day of January, 2004, by a vote of 7
ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
