AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33, SECTION VIII., AND SUB - SECTION (C), SECTION XII., SUCH SECTIONS AFFECTING THE MINIMUM LOT WIDTH REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM SQUARE FOOTAGE REQUIRE- MENTS FOR DWELLINGS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Euless, Texas: I. That Ordinance No. 33, Section VIII, be amended to read as follows: "No dwelling shall be constructed in a single - family dwelling district with less than 1,050 square feet of floor space, exclusive of porches, breezeways and garages." II. That Ordinance No. 33, Sub - Section (C) of Section XII, be amended to read as follows: "Width of Lot: The minimum width of a lot shall be 65 feet at e front building line, provided that where a lot has less width than herein required in separate ownership at the time of the passage of this Ordinance, this regulation will not prohibit the erection of one single - family dwelling on a lot less than 65 feet at the front building line." III. This Ordinance is cumulative of all other ordinances affecting Section VIII and Sub- Section (C) of Section XII of Ordinance No. 33 pertaining to minimum lot width requirements and minimum square footage requirements for dwellings, and in the event of conflict between this Ordinance and ordinances passed prior to this date, this Ordinance shall govern. IV. This Ordinance shall be effective and in full force and effect upon its adoption and publication as required by law.
