Councilmen Paul Horton, Bobby F u l l e r , Ross F e r r i s , Lee Roy Nix, and J. S. Anderson. 1. The C i t y Council discussed the proposed contract A motion was made by Councilman
Nix, w i t h the Hurst-Euless Independent School D i s t r i c t for them to do the assessing of property w i t h i n the c i t y l i m i t s of Euless. and seconded by Councilman F
e r r i s , that the Ctty of Euless accept the contract as presented by the School Board w i t h the f o l l o w i n g exceptions: 1. Tax statements f o r Euless are to be prepared on
Euless Tax statement forms; 2. The Post O f f i c e i n the City of Euless i s t o recefve c r e d i t for a l l stamp expenses incurred i n connection w i t h the assessment o f the
C i t y o f Euless taxes. A l l Councilmen present voted i n favor of t h i s m o t h . 2. A motion was made by Counctlman Nix, and seconded by Councilman F e r r i s , that Resolution
No. 28 6e approved and adopted. Resolution No. 28 i s that the terms and provisions-of the Tax Assessment Contract dated the 28th day of March, 1960, by and between the C i t y of Euless,
Texas and the Euless-Hurst Independent School D i s t r i c t are hereby accepted and approved, and t h a t the Mayor o f the C i t y of Euless be, and he 5s hereby authorized t o execute
s a i d c o n t r a c t f o r and on behalf of the C i t y of Euless and the C i t y Secretary i s authorized and directed t o a t t e s t said contract and t o place the corporate seal
thereon. A l l Councilmen present voted i n favor of t h i s motion. 3. A motion was made by Councilman Nix, and seconded by Councilman F u l l e r , t o approve and adopt Ordinance
No. 125. Ordinance No. 125 changes the f i s c a l year from May 31st t o May 31st t o October 1st beginning October l s t , 1960 and s h a l l terminate on the 30th day of September
each succeeding calendar year. The vote i n favor was unanimous. 4. A motion was made by Councilman Nix, and seconded by Councilman F u l l e r , that Ordinance No. 126 be approved and
adopted. Ordinance No. 126 s p e c i f i e s t h a t the C i t y o f Euless, Texas, hereby appoint and designates the Tax Assessor of the Hurst-Euless Independent School D i s t r i
c t , Tarrant County, Texas, as the tax assessor for the corporate l i m i t s of Euless, Texas, and to perform any and a l l duties of the Tax Assessor for the C i t y of Euless, Texas,
