AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING
MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT: AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from Dan Peters and Tommie Peters,
owners of the real property hereinafter described, situated within
said City, and having held public hearing thereon, in which all
interested persons and owners of property in the vicinity of said
realty were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in
connection with said application, have recommended to the City
Council a change in the zoning designation of said tract, and as
by law provided publication of a Notice of Final Hearing on such
recommendation was made by publishing the same in The News - Texan,
the official newspaper of the City on the '% day of ,
1961, and after said public hearing being held in accordance with
the said notice in which all owners of property in the City of
Euless, Texas, were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be
heard, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest of
said City and its inhabitants that such recommendation be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the official District Zoning Map
of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33,
be amended to read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract out of the A. J.
HUITT SURVEY, Tarrant County, Texas, described as
follows:
TRACT ONE:
Being 1.29 acres of land out of the A. J. Huitt
Survey in the City of Euless, Tarrant County,
Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING 1,286.11 feet East of the Northwest
corner of said A. J. Huitt Survey;
THENCE East 250.35 feet for corner;
THENCE South 1 degree 41 minutes East 225 feet for
corner;
THENCE West 251.07 feet for corner;
THENCE North 1 degree 30 minutes West 224.98 feet
to the place of beginning.
TRACT TWO:
Being 0.63 acre of land out of the A. J. Huitt Survey
in the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, described
as follows:
BEGINNING 1,596.49 feet East of the Northwest corner of
said A. J. Huitt Survey;
THENCE East 122 feet for corner;
THENCE South 1 degree 41 minutes East 225 feet for
corner;
THENCE West 122 feet for corner;
THENCE North 1 degree 41 minutes West 225 feet to the
place of beginning;
now zoned "Al' Single Family Dwelling, be zoned "B" Local Business
District.
II.
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as by law provided.
