A RESOLUTION RESCHEDULING THE REGULAR CITY
COUNCIL MEETINGS IN AUGUST 2016 FROM TUESDAY,
AUGUST 9, 2016, AND TUESDAY, AUGUST 23, 2016, TO
TUESDAY, AUGUST 16, 2016, AND TUESDAY, AUGUST
30, 2016.
WHEREAS, due to budgetary schedules conflicting with the dates of regularly
scheduled council meetings for the city council consideration of the FY 2017 budget and
tax rate ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 00-1058 was approved to provide for the rescheduling of
a Regular City Council Meeting to a date other than the second or fourth Tuesday of the
month;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS HEREBY
RESOLVES:
SECTION 1
That the regularly scheduled City Council Meetings to be held on Tuesday,
August 9 and Tuesday, August 23, 2016, have been rescheduled to Tuesday, August
16, 2016, and Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
SECTION 2
That the City Secretary shall cause to be published this notice of rescheduled
meetings at least one (1) time in the official newspaper of the city.
APPROVED at a regular meeting _of the Euless City Council on the 12th day of January
2016, by a vote of 6 ayes, nays, and Q abstentions.
