AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BUILDING ORDINANCE NO. 28, - SECTION
VII., SUB - SECTION (A); AND PROVIDING. -FOR PUBLICATION, FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SUCH ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS:
I.
That Building Ordinance No. 28, Section VII, Sub - Section (a),
pertaining to the type of building to be used for other than
dwelling purposes shall be amended to read as follows:
11(a) All buildings and structures hereafter erected
within the City of Euless to be used for other than
family dwelling purposes shall be enclosed on all sides
with walls constructed wholly of stone, burned brick
or re- inforced concrete, and all roof structures
covered with and cornices to be of incombustible
materials, provided that wood cornices and ceiling
joists may be installed and used if fully covered
by one hour fire resistant material.
"The City Council may within its discretion
and upon recommendation of the Building Inspector, authorize
the erection in Class C- Commercial Zoning Districts of e
standard steel buildings meeting the specifications and
architectural detail requirements of the inland regions
provisions, Chapter 1500, Southern Building Code as now
e:Nlsting and as hereinafter amended."

This Ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and publication as by
law provided.
