AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE
BE ADVERTISED IN OFFICIAL CITY NEWSPAPER, TO BE PUB-
LISHED AT LEAST ONE TIME IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF THE EULESS CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
THAT the territory Particularly described by metes and bounds in
Exhibit "A", attached and made a part hereof, being situated in Tarranz.
County, Texas, and lying adjacent to the City of Euless, is hereby annexed,
brought within the Corporate Limits and made an integral part of the said
City of Euless.

This Ordinance is cumulative of other annexation ordinances passed
by the City of Euless and it is not the intention of this Ordinance to annex
or atternot to annex to the City of Euless any territory or land which is
already within the corporate limits of the City of Euless.
III.
THAT this Ordinance shall be Published at least one time in the
Dail-v News-Texan, -,!,.a official newspaper for the City of Euless, Texas,
in accordance with the provisions of the Euless City Charter.
IV.
THAT this Ordinance shall become effective and he in full force
and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than
thirty (30) days from the date of its first publication as aforesaid, and it
is so ordained.

EXHIBIT "A"

BEGINNING at a point in the North line of State Highway No. 183,
and on the boundary line between the Solomon Huitt Survey, Abst.
No. 705, and the A. Bradford Survey, Abst. No. 152, Tarrant County,
Texas, said point being approximately 2, 900 feet East of Main Street
in Euless, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE Easterly with the North line of said State Highway No. 183
parallel to the South line of the said Bradford Survey and the A.
Barnard Survey, Abst. No. 107, and the J. W. Thomas Survey, Abst.
No. 1522, approximately 12,000 feet to the East line of Tarrant
County, Texas;
THENCE Northerly with the East line of Tarrant County approximately
14, 000 feet to the center line of County Road No. 3036 (Wautauga-
Smithfield- County Line Road);
THENCE with the center line of said County Road West approximately
1,900 feet, Northerly 900 feet and Westerly 13,300 feet to its inter-
section with the East line of County Road No. 3129 (Euless- Grapevine
Road);
THENCE Southerly with the East line of said County Road No. 3129
12, 800 feet to its intersection with the most Northerly line of the
corrected City of Euless boundary as written in Euless City Ordinance
No. 10, dated July 6, 1953;
THENCE Easterly with the limits described in said Ordinance: East
1,271 feet; South 674 feet; East 1,264 feet and South 2,400 feet to
the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
