AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX ON PROPERTY IN THE
CITY OF EU LESS , TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1962, PRO-
VIDING PENALTIES, INTEREST AND LEGAL REMEDIES
FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
That a tax is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Euless, Texas, for the year of 1962, at the rate of seventy cents
(74�) per One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) valuation.

That twenty -five per cent ( 25/0) of the 70 � tax on each
$100.00 valuation hereby levied shall be used for the following purposes:
(a) To the extent of $ , the tax levied upon
this section is for the purpose of paying interest
and to maintain a sinking fund upon the indebtedness
of the City of Euless.
(b) To the extent of all taxes collected under the provision
of this section in excess of $ , the tax levied
by this section is for the purpose of paying current
general expenses of the City and for making permanent
improvements therein.
III.
That seventy -five percent (75 %) of the 70 tax on each
$100.00 valuation hereby levied shall be used for the purpose of paying
current expenses of the City of Euless, Texas, and for making permanent
improvements therein.

The penalties and interest accruing to the State of Texas and authorized
by the Ordinance of the City of Euless, Texas, upon deiinquent taxes are
hereby adopted and shall accrue to the City of Euless when City taxes become
delinquent. The City of Euless is hereby authorized to adopt any and all
legal remedies provided by the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and the Euless
City Charter for the purpose of collecting delinquent taxes.

CITY OF EULESS X
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 689a, Section 15, Texas
Revised Civil Statutes, and Article VII, Section 4, Euless City Charter,
Notice of Public Hearing is hereby given, to be held before the City Council
in said City at the City Hall at 8 :00 o'clock P.M. on the l / -// day of
- 5, -471o,lw ArA- , 19 62, to consider the proposed budget for the
City of Euless, Texas, for the fiscal year of 1962 -63.
That this publication shall constitute a notice of public hearing
and all citizens and interested parties are hereby requested to be in the
Council Chambers at the City Hall, Euless, Texas, at the time hereinabove
stated, to make any protest or suggestions that might occur to them and such
hearing shall continue from day to day as may be deemed necessary by the
City Council, so that every interested party and citizen shall have an
opportunity to be heard.
