AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING
MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from ffill,& Smiths, owner of the real
property hereinafter described, situated within said City, and
having held public hearing thereon, in which all interested
persons and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty
were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in
connection with said application, having recommended to the City
Council a change in the zoning designation of said tract, and
as by law provided publication of a Notice of Final Hearing on
such recommendation was made by publishing the same in the Daily
News - Texan, the official newspaper of the City, on the 27th cayr
of prs , 1962, and after said public hearing being held in
accordance with the said notice in which all owners of property
in the City of Euless, Texas, were given ample and sufficient
opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems it to be to the
best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such
recommendation be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the official District Zoning Map
of the'City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33,
be amended to read as follows:
THAT the designation of the tract of land, in Tarrant
County, Texas, described as follows:
BEING a tract of land out of the A. M. Downing
Survey, Abstract No. 415, situated in Tarrant County,
Texas, and described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a red sandstone marked Y on top for the
northwest corner of the 51 110 acres tract, in said
Downing Survey, conveyed to J. S. Martin by the deed
recorded in Volume 217, Page 426, of the Tarrant County
Deed Records and being in the north line of said
Downing Survey and 903 varas from its northeast corner;
THENCE south no degrees 34 minutes east, along the
west line of said 51 110 acres tract, 1363 610
feet to an iron in the northwesterly line of right -
6f =way of State Highway No. 183;

THENCE north 66 degrees 42 minutes east, along said
highway right -of -way line, 1175 feet to the pipe at
the southwest corner of the 7 3171000 acres tract
conveyed to Western Hills, Inc. by the deed recorded
in Volume 2934, Page 445 of said deed records.
THENCE North no degrees 46 minutes west, along the
west line of said 7 3171000 acres tract, 906 710
feet to an iron for the northwest corner of said
tract in the north line of said Downing Survey and
the north line of the 40 acres tract conveyed to Mary
E. Martin by the deed recorded in Volume 244, Page 131
of said deed records and being in the south line of
Bell Ranch Terrace Addition as said addition appears
upon the map recorded in Volume 388 -S, Page 52 of said
deed records.
THENCE south 89 degeees 49 minutes west, along said
survey line and the north line of said 40 acres tract
and the said 51 1/10 acres tract„ and the south line
of said addition, 605 410 feet to an iron at the
southwest corner of said Bell Ranch Terrace Addition.
THENCE south-89 degrees 26 minutes west 475.4 feet to
the place of- jbpginning and containing 28.247 acres of
land, more or less.
now zoned "All Single- Family Dwelling, be zoned "C" Commercial District.
II.
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as by law provided.
