AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2006,
AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2007, PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on August 29th 2006, the Euless City Council adopted the official
budget for the City of Euless for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2006 and ending
September 30, 2007: and
WHEREAS, the FY2006 -07 adopted budget included excess reserves in the
General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to amend the FY2006 -2007
Budget for unforeseen and emergency expenditures to fund the demolition of a vacated
and unsafe apartment building;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT the official operating budget for the City of Euless for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 2006, and ending September 30, 2007, be amended as follows:

EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective immediately from
and after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State
of Texas.
PRESENTED AND APPROVED on First and Final Reading at a regular meeting
of the Euless City Council on the 26th day of June, 2007, by a vote of 7 ayes,
0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
