HomeMy WebLinkAbout180 10-09-1962ORDINANCE NO. /90 AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN OFFICIAL CITY NEWSPAPER, TO BE PUB- LISHED AT LEAST ONE TIME IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE EULESS CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: I. THAT the territory particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A", attached and made a part hereof, being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and lying adjacent to the City of Euless, is hereby annexed, brought within the Corporate Limits and made an integral part of the said City of Euless. [IN THIS Ordinance is cumulative of other annexation ordinances passed by the City of Euless and it is not the intention of this Ordinance to annex or attempt to annex to the City of Euless any territory or land which is already within the Corporate Limits of the City of Euless. THAT this Ordinance shall be published at least one time in the Daily News - Texan, the official newspaper for the City of Euless, Texas, in accordance with the provisions of the Euless City Charter. IV. THAT this Ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its first publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained. ROGERS SURVEY, Abstract No. 1299, Tarrant County, Texas, said tract bounded on the North by the tract described in City of Euless Annexation Ordinance No. 10, on the East by tract described in Ordinance No. 69, on the West by tract described in Ordinance No. 25, on the South by Pipeline Road (County Road No. 3005) with the tract described in Ordinance No.110 being an area out of the South- west corner and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of tract described in Ordinance No. 110, said point being in the North line of Pipeline Road, 650.7 feet East of its intersection with the East line of F.M. Highway No. 157; THENCE with the boundary line of said tract described in Ordinance No. 110, North 614.5 feet and West 644.0 feet to the North- west corner of said Ordinance No. 110 tract, a point in the East line of F. M.
