AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP'
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from Ray Woods, owner of the real property
hereinafter described, situated within said City, and having held public
hearing thereon, in which all interested persons and owners of property in
the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be
heard in connection with said application, having recommended to the City
Council a change in the zoning designation of said tract, and as by law
provided publication of a Notice of Final Hearing on such recommendation was
made by publishing the same in the Daily News - Texan, the official newspaper
of the City, on the 9 !!�" day of October, 19 62 , and after said public hearing
being held in accordance with the said notice in which all owners of property
in the City of Euless, Texas, were given ample and sufficient opportunity to
be heard, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest of said City
and its inhabitants that such recommendation be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land, in Tarrant County, Texas,
described as follows:
BEING a tract of land out of the A. J. HUITT SURVEY, and being
all of a certain 4.440 acre tract and all of an 11.427 -acre tract
out of said A. J. Huitt Survey, conveyed by C. C. Cottingham,
et ux, to Emma Mae Woods by deed recorded in Volume 2894,
page 597, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and
being more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the said 4.440 -acre
tract, at an iron rod in the East line of F. M. Highway No. 157;
THENCE South 88 degrees 29 minutes East 1, 237. 6 feet;
THENCE South 0 degrees 41 minutes East 554.1 feet;
THENCE North 88 degrees 35 minutes West 1, 253.8 feet to a
point in the East right -of -way line of F. M. Highway No. 157;
THENCE North 1 degree 00 minutes East along the East right -of -way
line of F. M. Highway No. 157, 556.0 feet to the Place of Beginning;
now zoned "R" Residential, be zoned as follows:
The West 462.9 feet to be zoned Commercial, and the remaining
791 feet to be zoned A-3, Multiple Family Units.

THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as by law provided.
ADOPTED this the /a3 day of November, 19 62 .
GIVEN Second Reading on December 27, 1962, and passed by unanimous
