Councilmen Lee Roy Nix, H. M. Huffman, and Roy Braswell. V i s i t o r s present were Floyd S . H a r r i s , Truett Owens, R. L. Mulkey, Charles Hinton, and J i m Forrester. 1. The
City Council discussed with M r . Floyd S..Harris, who i s building the new Post Office, the s e t t i n g o f curbs on Main Street i n f r o n t o f the Post Office twenty-four and
one-half feet from the cneter l i n e of North Main Street. To do t h i s would necessitate moving the two Texas Power and Light poles back approximately t w o feet on the f i v e foot
u t i l i t y easement, or t o move them to the back of the l o t on the u t i l i t y easement. The Mayor i s going t o contact M r . Root of the Texas Power and Light Company and see
what can be worked out about t h i s . 2. A motion was made by Councilman Huffman, and seconded by Councilman Nix, t o amend motion no. 1 i n the minutes o f the council meeting o f
December 6, 1960, t o permit f o r t y-f i v e degree angle parking on F u l l e r Drive as shown on the o r i g i n a l Post Office plans. A l l Councilmen present voted i n favor o
f t h i s motion. 3 . The p l o t plan of the new Post Office shows 8250 square feet o f patron parking on the east side of the Post Office when completed. Minutes Approved: /s/Ernest
