AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE
BE PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL CITY NEWSPAPER, TO BE
PUBLISHED AT LEAST ONE TIME IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF THE EULESS CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
THAT the territory particularly described by metes and bounds in
Exhibit "A ", attached and made a part hereof, being situated in Tarrant
County, Texas, and lying adjacent to the City of Euless, is hereby annexed,
brought within the Corporate Limits and made an integral part of the said
City of Euless.
IT is not the intention of this Ordinance to annex, or attempt to
annex, to the City of Euless any territory or land which has been, prior to
this date, validly annexed to any other municipality. If any portion of the
annexation declared herein shall for any reason be held void or unconstitu-
tional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect
the remaining area so annexed.
III.
THAT this Ordinance shall be published at least one time in the
Daily News - Texan, the official newspaper for the City of Euless, Texas,
in accordance with the provisions of the Euless City Charter.
IV.
THAT this Ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than
thirty (30) days from the date of its first publication as aforesaid, and it
is so ordained.
PRESENTED and given First Reading on the /'/ 11W day of December,
1962, at a Meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas; and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the day of
L2� , 19683 by a vote of Ayes and O Nays at
a Meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.

EXHIBIT "A"
This area is out of the J. DOSS SURVEY, Abstract No. 441, and
the J. H. HAVEN SURVEY, Abstract No. 685. The area described
below is bounded on the South by Bedford City Limits, on the West
by Collyville, and on the North by Collyville, and by F. M. High-
way No. 157 on the East, which is in the City Limits of Euless,
Tarrant County, Texas.
BEGINNING at a point in the present City Limits of the City of
Euless, as annexed through the provisions of Ordinance No. 57, said point
being in the West right-of-way line of F . M . Highway No. 157, and 25 feet
South of the North line of the B.B.B. & C.R.R. Company Survey, Abstract
No. 204, said point being the Northeast corner of the City of Bedford, Texas,
as shown on the official map of said city as revised in March, 1962;
THENCE Westerly, 25 feet South of and parallel to the North line
of said B. B. B. & C. R. R. Co. Survey and with the North City Limit line of
the City of Bedford, at approximately 2800 feet, pass County Road No. 3093,
in all approximately 3400 feet to the intersection of the Collyville City Limit
and the Bedford City Limit boundaries;
THENCE in a Northerly direction with the Easterly right -of -way line
of County Road No. 3081, said right -of -way line being the City Limit boundary
of the Town of Collyville, a distance of approximately 5900 feet to the South
right -of -way line of County Road No. 3036, a point in said Collyville City
Limit boundary;
THENCE Easterly with the South right -of -way line of said County
Road No. 3036 and the City Limit boundary of the Town of Collyville, a
distance of approximately 1700 feet to a point in the West line of F. M.
Highway No. 157;
THENCE Southerly with the West line of said F.M. Highway No.
157 and the boundary line of the City of Euless as described in Ordinance
No. 57, a distance of approximately 5400 feet to the Place of Beginning.
